The CT-5372 is for ADSL2+/VDSL2 over POTS (Annex A) while the CT-5372E is for ADSL2+/VDSL2 over ISDN (Annex B).   VDSL2 is a brand new standard and technology that is perfectly suitable for triple play (Video, Voice and Data) applications.
